Kusum Devi Sundarlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital is a unit of Shri SS Jain Sabha, an organization involved in Philanthropic activities for over nine decades.

We have a state-of-the-art institute in the banks of the Ganga, with a lush green campus in the heart of the city. Our college caters to the academic, clinical, residential and recreational requirements of all our students and is a true reflection of our philosophy and belief in the holistic development of all our students. Our college is well connected to all major areas within city and in the outskirts via local trains, metro railway, buses, taxis and auto. We have the facility of college buses for students for their travel to medical college and for dental camps.

We have approximately a flow of 150-200 patients daily with 9 specialized departments looking into all kinds of basic and advanced dental treatments including oral prophylaxis, dental extractions, tooth restorations, root canal treatment, dentures, crown and bridge, implants, gingival and maxillofacial surgeries, pediatric dental treatment, orthodontic treatment, biopsies, diagnosis and management of potentially malignant disorders and oral cancers.

Fees Structure

The fee structure at Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College may vary based on the program, specialization, and mode of admission (such as merit-based or management quota). 

Placement

The Meghnad Institute of Technology offers training and placements for its students. For B.Tech students, training is provided for 4 weeks in the industry, during the 6th semester. After this training, students will be confident enough to appear for placement interviews. 

For students of other courses, training will be provided in the 4th semester. It includes minor training that will be for one month and major training that will be for 6 months. Training plans will vary based on the course. Most of the students get placed in reputed organizations with decent packages. The highest package for the academic year 2022 to 2023 was 21.64 LPA. 

Facilities

The institute is equipped with modern amenities including orthopantamogram for radiograph of maxillofacial region, advanced student laboratories, research microscope, audiovisual systems, E- library for advanced teachings.

We organize and conduct regular dental camps across the city and outskirts to provide dental health care service to people belonging to low socioeconomic strata.

We have a fully functional tobacco cessation center for counseling of patients against tobacco usage and generating awareness about oral cancer by conducting individual and group counseling sessions with modern equipment and audio-visual aids.

Eligibility

For Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) courses: 
●    The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application /Technical Vocational Subjects as compulsory subjects. 
●    The candidate must have passed the national level JEE Main & WBJEE state level examination. 
For Master of Technology (M. Tech) courses: 
●    The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline with a minimum of 65% or 6.75 CGPA. 
●    The candidate must have qualified for the GATE/PGET examination. 
Master of Business Administration: 
●    The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree and must have qualified for the CAT/MAT/JEMAT Exam. 
Master of Computer Applications:
●    The candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a recognized college with at least 50% (45% for reserved category). 
●    The candidate must have qualified for the JECA exam.
